01 — Business exists to serve its customers

Customer centricity is a must for survival in an increasingly competitive world. Every business exists to solve the problems of its customers. 

02 — People first

Customers are important, but for the leader, employees come first. Success can only be built on mutual trust.

03 — Purpose-driven businesses thrive

People thrive at work, when there is a strong sense of community and shared purpose. The leadership’s primary responsibility is to ensure that these are in place. When the purpose is clear, the strategy is also easier to formulate. 

04 — Agile ways of working

The agile approach, where work is done iteratively in frequent collaboration with the customer and where it adapts to the changes in the environment effectively, should be endorsed not only in software development but in business overall.
